Colostrum has a virus antibody that acts against viral invaders. A wide range of antiviral factors were acknowledged to be present in colostrum. This research was done at the US Government's Center for Disease Control in Atlanta, Georgia. Dr. E.L. Palmer, et. al.; Journal of Medical Virology
Colostrum contains Non Specific Inhibitors that inhibit a wide range of respiratory illness, notably Influenza viruses. Colostrum is specifically cited for its unique effectiveness against potentially deadly outbreaks of Asian Flu viruses that emerge from animal/human mutations.

I have heard Surthrival Colostrum is supposed to be good. They make a big deal about it being "6 hour" colostrum... Haven't tried any brands yet myself though.

I have tried a lot of different brands but have found Well Wisdom colostrum to be the best. They also have the best whey protein on the market. No comparison to other brands. For healing the gut they have superb glutamine as well. They market a very select line of natural immune enhancing products derived from free range New Zealand cows, free of hormones, antibiotics and pesticides.
If you are casein intolerant, Kirkman Labs makes a liquid colostrum that entirely casein free. I don't think it works as well as the Well Wisdom brand but may be a substitute if needed;LiquidUnflavoredHypoallergenic/

Could anyone who tried it tell me how you felt during the intake? I started it two weeks ago and my colon is better at the moment. Less bloating and cramps and good stools. The problem is that I got my first flu in seven years (!) and I feel like crap at the moment. I never got ill with a flu or even a cold during my gut infection. So I think the colostrum pushed my immune system so that my body is right now fighting against the gut infection and some virus I catched up in addition.

Anyone with similar experiences?
