Hi linenup - that's throwing the kitchen sink at it!  Well done - and interesting to see the results.

I'm pleased to say that I've had some interesting results with saponins from Yucca extract - it's not a magic bullet - at least not yet, but has provided the best results I've had for some time.  I'm using the following:

1. Now brand - Yucca Root 2 caps 3tpd (Root extract)
2. Jarrow formulas - Yucca extract 1 cap 3tpd (Juice extract)
3. Azmira Holistic Animal Care - Yucca Intensive 2 caps 3tpd (liquid extract that I encapsulate).  I figure, if it's good enough for pets, it's good enough for humans!
4. Now brand Quercitin 500mg - 2 caps 3tpd. (Exflux pump inhibitor to prevent the bug expelling Yucca)

I source all from www.iherb.com - apart from the animal product (widely available).

According to scientific reports "saponins have anti-protozoal activity by complexing with cholesterol in protozoal membranes, causing damage to the integrity of the membrane, and cell lysis".

The good news is - the Yucca hasn't caused any side effects, even in the high dosages that I'm taking - and I'm feeling better than ever.

I thank jyt for bringing this to my attention - and I urge other forum members to give this serious consideration.

Thanks for the encouragement, I need it.   Been getting nasty die-off, feelings of dying, psychosis etc.  Fun Stuff!   Cutting back the protocol to have better tolerance.    Septra is for the bacterial problem I have been having.

Hi Lineup,

On the undecnylic acid, do you think this is causing the majority of the die-off symptoms?  Dr Robert O young of the PH miracle diet suggests using it with caprylic Acid and also mentions another one called Butric Acid as having powerful antimicrobial activity. When I looked into undecnylic acid quickly a guy suggested that a study showed that undecnylic acid required a slightly alkaline enviroment to work. which is great for the small intestines but not so for the large. And that caprylic acid works better in an acid enviroment such as the large intestines. This could mean depending on where the infection is that a combo would be more effective.
Dr Robert Young said that studies showed that people taking undecnylic acid were able to completly eliminate all funguses from there stool samples.

P.S Gota Kola for ?
Cheers

Homer:  Don't know whether it is the UA or the other stuff.  Butyric acid?     I posted something about gotu kola showing that it contains a chemical that provides anti-microbial activity.

Update:   I have managed to control the horrible die off reactions with oral EDTA, other antioxidants such as C, E, zeolite spray, anything to grab the toxins.    Some of the horrible anxiety has slowed down and the repressive thoughts have diminished somewhat.

My parasite is highly inflammatory in which my whole body is swollen so of course the abdomen is swollen and I always gauge how bad the infection is by the inflammation.   I went back to work today and 2 people who see me quite a bit commented how far down the abdomen is.   So that is good news, of course the question is whether the protozoa will adapt to the attacks, which I am hoping they do not.   But I think I am on the right track and we will see in the next week or so.

I thank all of you for participating and helping to solve this complex problem.  Peace to all of you.

Good news linenup - and keep fighting the good fight.  I can relate particularly to gut inflammation when the PPTU flares up.  In these circumstances, the only thing that works for me is peppermint oil and fish oil.  However, interesting about oral EDTA.

I'm presently researching how protozoa evade the immune system - and it looks like cysteine protease is involved here - by shutting down part of the gut immune system.  On paper, the solution could be "protease inhibitors" plus immune stimulation.

Stop protozoa from evading/shutting down our immune system - and our body's defence system will clear the protozoa - without pharmaceutical or herbal medication.

More work to be done in this regard...

Hi Woodie, thanks will talk withy my Doc. Very inetresting info on Protease. Can you suggest any protease inhibitors. I remember Garlic being mentioned as a protease inhibitor possibly. I have shifted my approach from one of attacking the protozoa specifically to more of a focus on Immune stimulation.  I am having some success on my current protocol with some one saying to me the other day that I looked healthier not so thin. I am alos feeling stronger and having less brain fog and fatigue. Still some abdo pian particulary at night. Should give up coffee as this seems to aggrevate them.  So thats abig one for me. Its still to early to report but will write up all in the next two to four weeks depending on result. want to pass any period of the placebo effect.

Anyway best of luck all - As my mother in law always say, Fight, Fight!, Fight!!!

Hi Woodie,

CAn also enquire to how your current situation is? Have the protozoa adpted to the Yucca? Or are you still feeling better than ever. It seems to me if we are going to find an answer it needs to be something outside the ability of the protozoa to adapt to. This could be it. It amy not be possible for them to become resistant to something that attcks there bio interigity. It may just take sometime to erdicate them all. Does anyone know how quickly that can multiply? Also it seems important to find something that can attak the cyst stage as this seems the most likely reason they survive.

Cheers

Something (undec acid or tanalbit or the other stuff) is really tearing thru things, major stress reactions, headaches, feeling like crud.   Gut feels torn up and I keep cutting back to tolerate this, I think in my case best to go slowly so I can cope.   Took some probiotics, colostrum, olive oil and Stomach Ease tea and glutamine to bring some healing as my gut is quite inflammed.   Any other ideas would be welcome.

I am thinking some aloe vera would be helpful.

Hey Lineup,

Have you still got a ozone generator. Dr. Beck added drinking upto 6-8 glasses of freshly ozonated water to his protocol to reduce die-off effects. Apparantly it helps to neutralize toxins and escort them out of the body. You also don't need medical grade ozonated water, the standard cold corona is fine for drinking water according to Beck. You can get them cheap in the U.S.
Anyway just one idea, don't have many others that you wouldn't already know about. Could try the coffee Enema to charge up the liver. Time consuming but who nows you might be winning the battle and sure don't want to stop, so best of luck hope your feeling better soon.

P.s another idea maybe MSM known for its ability to detox the body, perhaps start slow with Vit C incase the detox is to rapid. Also its an amazing antiinflamortry. It has helped me more than any other product i take. Also Fish oil for the antiinflamortry of the gut may also be good, Woddie to has mentioned this has helped him. And finally perhaps peppermint tea, lots of it, it helps might gut when inflammed.

Hi linenup - sorry to hear about the gut problems.  I'd avoid aloe vera as this tends to make things worse in my experience.  Best advice I can offer is enteric coated peppermint oil caps plus fish oil.  Really brings things back under control...

Ok thanks for the heads up.   I had to stop everything for now 2 days, gut is raw as could be.   Whether this is from biofilm busting enzymes or from the Tanalbit and UA something is working... my feeling anyhow is that these are killing things off and the white blood cells are trying to sweep things up.... so I would recommend for anyone trying this to go slow but consistent.

Ozone I think will irritate the tissue, but you have got me thinking that I could shoot some oxygen up there.   Will try more fish oil and msm.   Also doing anti-inflamatory herbs like ginger, turmeric, rosemary and adding more vitamin c and quercitin.
